Social and Emotional Growth
At Bright One Academy, we understand that social and emotional skills are foundational to a child’s success. Our programs in this area help children navigate their emotions, form meaningful relationships, and develop empathy and confidence. Through interactive activities, students learn how to communicate effectively, manage their feelings, and work collaboratively with others.
Game On! (Grades 1–3)
This interactive program uses structured games and group play to help young learners develop essential social skills including cooperation, empathy, communication, taking turns, and emotional self-regulation. Through fun and age-appropriate activities, students learn how to work and play respectfully and positively with others.
Social Superheroes (Grades 4–8)
This course helps students unlock their voices through fun and interactive activities that build confidence, communication skills, and the fundamentals of respectful debate. Students explore public speaking, persuasive communication, and expression of ideas in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Growing Leaders (Grades 1–3)
This playful leadership course introduces young students to the building blocks of being a leader: responsibility, helping others, making decisions, and expressing ideas. Through games, storytelling, and role-play, students learn that leadership begins with kindness, courage, and teamwork and then start practicing leadership through engaging activities!
Leadership Lab (Grades 4–8)
Leadership Lab gives upper elementary school students practical leadership tools through real-life scenarios, teamwork challenges, and personal growth exercises. This program emphasizes compassionate leadership, active listening, and goal setting.
